ELLE WEDDING ART GALLERY 2020: “TIM NGUOI TRONG MONG” WITH DESIGNER THUY NGUYEN

Coming to ELLE Wedding Art Gallery 2020, designer Thuy Nguyen and her collection "Tim Nguoi Trong Mong" brought a completely new perspective on the traditional wedding ao dai. Throughout the show, there were bright red, platinum and golden colors on a background of familiar materials but with a modern, sophisticated and innovative shape - demonstrating the great creative thinking that is deeply marked by designer Thuy Nguyen.

In addition to fashion collections with bold folk flavors, designer Thuy Nguyen also has profound wedding ao dai designs with a spirit of trendy innovation. In the third show at ELLE Wedding Art Gallery, Thuy Nguyen brings future brides a lyrical wedding ao dai collection, harmoniously harmonizing traditional elements with contemporary aesthetic thinking.

Thuy Design House's "Tim Nguoi Trong Mong" collection represents the most sincere emotions in love, those are the moments we hope to meet, be close, and be together. This name was also born spontaneously. Specifically, designer Thuy Nguyen shared: "When the song 'Tren Dinh Phu Van' was performed, my emotions seemed to well up, a picture of majestic natural landscape blended with the music and lyrics just to express a sobbing, strong love. After that day, "Tim Nguoi trong Mong" inspired me to express my love and ideas through a collection of wedding dresses.

 

"Tim Nguoi trong Mong" collection revolves around traditional dragon and phoenix images with bright red, platinum and gold as the main colors. These motifs also come back again and again in Thuy Design House's wedding ao dai designs, but with each season, people see them applied in a different, new and trendy way.

In addition, designer Thuy Nguyen also pays special attention to two issues: attachment position and pattern color. Instead of just focusing the eye on one point, the patterns are spread evenly on the shirt background, creating harmonious and delicate color patches. Modernity is also shown in form-building techniques, ao dai sewing and 3D appliqués. Each wedding ao dai on the runway of the collection is a different highlight in a unified whole of pure traditional style blended with contemporary aesthetic thinking.

That's why, every year when she launches a new collection, she brings completely different concepts, ideas with a strong folk flavor but still mixed with modern elements. And at the third show of ELLE Wedding Art Gallery 2020, she delighted viewers with different designs bearing her personal impression.
