What is your reason for choosing Brocade as your signature product?

I choose Brocade for the main marterial of Thuy Design House collections simply because I have loved it before even becoming a designer. Besides, started as a painter, I love Brocade for its colours and patterns. Brocade reminds me of the traditional values which I always feel connected to as a Vietnamese.

What’s the difference between traditional Brocade and Thuy Design House’s Brocade?

In general, there’s no difference between the two kinds of Brocades. But what distinguishes our products to the others comes from the first step: choosing the most stood out patterns and colours, suitable for Thuy Design House’s target customers. But the most unique thing is that the designer makes them with passion, turn the material that is always been considered as something uptight and formal into something more modern and artistic. Unlike any of the traditional designs that have been there for decades, Thuy Design House brings you clothes with delicate and romantic designs. The cutout lines are very simple but sophisticated and it embraces the modern Vietnamese women beauty.

Where is Brocade on the Vietnam market as well as global market?

It is very clear that Asian countries, especially Vietnam prefer Brocade than the other territories. But international fashion trends are heading toward Asia for fresh inspirations, and that is an opportunity for Brocade.

Do you have a wish for your designs in the future? (Brocade and other lines)

I wish that my designs will always be loved.

How do you feel about the sharing event at Moet Champagne Corner? What do you think about Champagne Corner?

It’s a really great event, very classy but cozy at the same time. I like Champagne Corner and I hope I have more chance to collaborate in the future.
